TUBITAK provides 200 thousand TRY support with BiGG, for entrepreneurs to bring their business ideas to life in the thematic areas of “Intelligent Transportation” and “Health and Good Life”!
Istanbul Okan University with the name of BIGG STEP, is among the Implementing Organisations of the TUBITAK 1512 Techno-Entrepreneurship Capital Support Program in the thematic areas of “Intelligent Transportation” and “Health and Good Life”.
Entrepreneurs who are accepted to the BIGG STEP Program with the theme of “Intelligent Transportation” will also reach to the ERTICO- Intelligent Transportation System Networks (ITS Europe) of which Okan University is the only member in Turkey, EGVIA-The European Green Vehicles Initiative Association, BEPA-Batteries European Partnership Association and CCAM-European Partnership on Cooperative Connected and Automated Mobility networks with strong international partners and stakeholders with the infrastructure to be established in the OPINA Project.
Anyone who has a technology-focused business idea, Student, Academician, Industry employee, is willing to build their own enterprise and has the following qualifications specified in the TUBITAK 1512 Techno-enterprise Capital Support Program and BIGG call can apply.
As of the pre-application date to the program, the universities
- Students enrolled in any associate degree, undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral programmes.
- Graduates from any associate degree, undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral programmes,
If he/she fulfils the following conditions, he/she will be able to apply to the program
- Not having previously received support within the scope of the Ministry of Industry and Technology Techno-Enterprise Capital Support or the 2nd phase of the TUBITAK 1512 Program, not having received support within the scope of the stage,
- Not being involved in the partnership structure of any business as of the pre-application date.
